the decor was really nice and i had a super comfy bed. the ensuite had an amazin shower and there was always plenty of hot water. everything was super clean. Charlotte at the desk was so welcoming n helped us find food nearby. also, the breakfast at the sandwich bar was delicious and at a great price.

only downside was that there was no door on the ensuite bathroom, which was a bit weird, and the layout of the room could've been better since there were no plug points by the bed.

Try to request a room away from the road for a quieter sleep, as traffic noise can be intrusive at night.

we had a lovely stay for one night in a budget single room. the location was perfect since it was near my grandson's birthday party, and the family that runs the hotel were incredibly kind and helpful. it was exceptional value for money, and we were more than pleased!

I booked a Budget Twin Room for one night. The room was spacious and well presented. The bed felt very comfortable, definitely a highlight. I appreciated the cleanliness and the good standards of the bathroom fittings. getting warm water into the wash basin took far too long. I ended up using hot water from the kettle. The worst part was the intrusive traffic noise from the busy roadway just outside. Even with the double glazed windows closed, it was hard to get a good night’s sleep. The noise quieted down after midnight, but motorbikes were racing by throughout the night, which kept me awake.

Traffic noise was a constant issue, even with the double-glazed windows closed. felt like a landspeeder race outside. Heating took too long to kick in, leaving the room chillier than a Wampa’s cave. Creaky floorboards added unnecessary drama at night, and the lack of thorough cleaning left a dust bunny or two hiding under the bed.

Staff quickly provided a fan for comfort.
